Journeys Plan My Trip

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge that your use of the Master Travel website and your participation in any services we arrange are subject to the terms set out below.

Booking policy

A deposit of 25% secures your booking, covering your hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket and other essential travel services. The remaining balance can be settled up to two days before arrival, or paid in cash on arrival at your destination.

Client amendments

Whether changes to an original reservation can be made depends on availability at the time of the request. Once payment has been made in full or a voucher issued, no additional administrative fees apply, except for changes relating to airline tickets.

Credit card payments

If you choose to pay by credit card, we ask you to provide a signed letter authorising us to charge the card. The signature on the letter must match the signature on both your card and your passport.

Cancellation fees (excluding peak periods)

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email. The following charges apply:

From the date of booking until 61 days before arrival: 15% of the total price
60 to 31 days before arrival: 35% of the total price
30 to 15 days before arrival: 50% of the total price
14 to 1 days before arrival: 100% of the total price

Airline fees apply separately and are governed by the airline's own terms and conditions. A 5% bank fee is deducted from all refunds. Cancellation terms may differ significantly for groups and for tailor-made itineraries.

Cancellation during peak periods (Christmas, New Year and Easter)
From the date of booking until 61 days before arrival: 25% of the total price
60 to 31 days before arrival: 50% of the total price
30 to 15 days before arrival: 75% of the total price
14 to 1 day before arrival: 100% of the total price

Airline fees apply separately and are governed by the airline's own terms and conditions. A 5% bank fee is deducted from all refunds. Cancellation terms may differ significantly for groups and for tailor-made itineraries.

Force majeure

At Master Travel, your wellbeing and safety come first, and our cancellation policy reflects that. Where a government or airline issues a "do not travel" warning for your destination, we will refund the amount paid for your package, or in some cases hold your payment as future travel credit that can be applied to any destination we operate in. Reservations are adjusted to reflect these credits automatically. Only flight cancellation or change fees are charged, in line with the airline's terms, along with bank surcharges on the deposit paid.

Refunds

Refunds are issued using the same method as the original payment. No refund is available if you do not show up for your reservation. A 5% bank fee is deducted from all refunds.

Accommodation

Prices are based on two people sharing a room. A supplement applies for single occupancy. We select hotels carefully against consistent standards.

Flights

Domestic flights: prices quoted are averages and timings are estimates. Any change to your flight may affect the price.

International flights: we offer competitive fares from your country of origin to your chosen destination.

Responsibility

Master Travel acts solely as a travel agency, guiding and facilitating the travel arrangements of its clients. Whether travel takes place by land, sea or air, the company accepts no responsibility for injury, illness, damage, loss, delay or disruption to individuals or their belongings arising from circumstances outside its control. These include adverse weather, acts of nature, actions of governmental authorities, conflict, civil unrest, labour disputes, riots, theft, mechanical failure, quarantine, or default by hotels, carriers or restaurants. The company does not accept responsibility for additional expenses arising from such events.

Special requests

Please tell us about any specific requirements when you book. We and our partners will make every effort to accommodate them, but special requests do not form part of the contract and cannot be guaranteed. Fulfilment depends on availability, including for pre-bookable seats. Acknowledgement of a request on a confirmation invoice or elsewhere is not a guarantee that it will be met, and you will not receive separate notification if it cannot be. We do not accept bookings that are conditional on a special request being fulfilled.
